I want to know what you're going to be doing about your lyrics. To be honest, I won't be able to enjoy any music, no matter how it sounds, if it's promoting love & peace/faith in god 24/7. What I'd like to hear is the same brutal fucked up lyrics that I know and love, and I have an EXCELLENT way so that yall can implement them and avoid pissing off the big dude in the flowing robes.
I recommend, that at some point in each song, you have a lyrical disclaimer, in a sense saying that this is something you shouldn't do.
Ex: "...my cock from her rotting flesh, THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO DO, FOR THIS IS SINNING, WHICH IS BAD"
This makes it brutal, yet christian friendly.
The best of both worlds.
Thoughts?

LOL how many people actually read lyrics to death metal anyways? I know all the Immolation lyrics and Suffocation lyrics for the simple fact that I have heard the cd's so many time's you don't have to read along. If all the lyrics are Christian lyrics so what I mean really what are the odd's of them even being audible and if they are then great as long as the music crushes like it did on MTD. Brian created an Epic sound and will continue to do so with what I have already heard. If someone doesn't listen to a band for the simple fact they don't like the lyric's that they probably can't understand anyway's they are really closed minded.

Definately not about the lyrics in this band for me. Though I will read the lyrics and understand where they are coming from i'm sure. Same holds true with when I listen to say, old Stryper albums, I just love the 80's jamz.... and those lyrics even though 'christian' in nature don't bother me... I just ain't a 'believer'... I still sing along though, it all flows nicely together no matter the 'subject/'topic'.

The only band i read lyrics of is Draconian where lyrics are more like an art than formality. Never bothered about the lyrical themes; if it slams and and makes me headbang....enough.
